Database Development

In Fall 2024, I took Database Management Systems, where our semester-long project was to build a database as a team. We chose to create a gym management database, which became the most challenging project I’ve tackled so far. I had to learn SQL and Microsoft Access, and there was plenty of trial and error along the way.

As team lead, I divided tasks, kept timelines on track, and helped wherever needed. When code issues came up, I spent hours in the lab troubleshooting. When we needed extra direction, I reached out to our professor. In the end, I’m extremely proud of what we created, a fully functional database with search features, a user-friendly interface, and much more.
