Leadership

My leadership journey started when I was just six years old, on a soccer field. Obviously, when you're that young, it’s not super serious, but I’ve always been pretty competitive. I became a goalie, which, as any soccer player knows, means you're basically managing the field. For 13 years, I played that position, analyzing plays, calling out directions, and protecting the goal. That’s really where I found my love for leading teams, whether it’s on the field or in a more professional setting.

When I got to college, I wanted to try everything—and I did. I joined almost every club that caught my attention. Eventually, I found the ones that meant something to me. I’ve always been someone who steps up to help, so even in freshman year, when I was just a member, I was already helping with the back end of the clubs. By the time elections rolled around, I was basically already in an officer role. Since then, I’ve held executive board positions in five organizations: Delta Sigma Pi, The Leadership Academy, American Cancer Society, and more

For me, leadership has never been about a title; it’s always been about making an impact. Whether I’m organizing an event or working behind the scenes, I genuinely enjoy contributing to something bigger than myself.
